Crews
Crews must comprise of 8 to 10 paddlers plus a drummer - squads may be larger. Crews can be mixed, all female or all male and companies may enter more than one crew. No age limits are imposed and no previous experience of dragon boat racing is required. All crew members must be able to swim in light clothing and in moving water and compete entirely at their own risk. Qualified helms, buoyancy aids and water safety cover are provided.

Rules
Gable Events is an approved operator of the British Dragon Boat Racing Association (BDA) and the Challenge will be run under BDA Rules and hold a BDA Race Permit. All crews accepted for entry must abide with the Competition Rules of the BDA and entry conditions shown on this form. Each crew is guaranteed a minimum of 3 races.

Entry Fees
£695 + vat per crew (includes a £140 donation to Children with Leukaemia)
Crews may have less than 11 persons but there are no fee reductions.

Entries
Will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. No refunds will be given once an entry has been accepted.

Prizes
The 'Estates Gazette' Dragon Boat Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the winning crew and the top three crews will all receive medals.

Charity Sponsorship
All crews accepted for entry will be sent official sponsorship forms and asked to raise money for Children with Leukaemia through donations recorded on the form. All forms and sponsorship money must be handed to the Children with Leukaemia Organiser BEFORE the crew races. The Children with Leukaemia Charity Trophy will be awarded to the crew raising the most money.

Corporate Hospitality
Private rooms of various sizes and all with panoramic views of the race course are available for hire.
