Charity It’s a Knockout Case Study, Fundraising Events, Corporate Fun Days, Nationwide, UK

Six Years of Success
For six years, Gable Events have been booked by Hospitality Action to run a charity its a knockout in Holland Park, London for over 20 teams from companies connected to the hospitality trade. More than £15,000 is raised on average by the Holland Park event each year leading the charity to book a second annual it’s a knockout event with Gable Events in Manchester and the possibility of a third in Liverpool. Gable Events always introduce new games each year, keeping the event fresh and fun for the participants.

How the Funds are Raised
Hospitality Action charge around £700 for teams of 10 to participate in the it’s a knockout which includes a bbq and soft drinks. They also sell sponsorship opportunities including branding a game through the company’s name in the title of the game, a vinyl sticker on the game and the company logo on promotional materials. They also sell entry to spectators and provide a prize for the team with the most spectators!
