British Paralympic Association Dragon Boat Event
Numbers:
From 4 teams to 50+ teams. We usually race one or two sets of two, three or four dragon boats at a time depending on final numbers. Traditional 40’ boats accommodate 12 to 16 paddlers plus a drummer, 30’ boats seat 8 to 10 paddlers plus a drummer
Venue:
Any relatively still river, lake, reservoir, canal, dock, sheltered harbour, marina etc. with good access. We have a comprehensive list of suitable venues nationwide
Package:
Gable Events will provide the dragon boats, ancillary equipment, professional safety cover, buoyancy vests, BDA qualified race officials and helms, BDA permit, medals and trophy for the winning crew(s), PA system and race commentary, race schedule and computerized results, event control unit, authentic Chinese venue decoration, £5m public liability insurance and professional event management. Optional extras include Chinese lion dance, catering & themed entertainment, photographer/video crew, client name/logo on boats, supporting activities and event infrastructure eg marquees, furniture, toilets etc |
